Planning apps usually tell us where we need
to be and what needs to be completed. Cocoon Organiser adds another question to
that process: what do we want to make time for?
The app combines a daily organizer with
tools for self-care, routines, personal development and longer-term goal
setting. Its weekly schedule can be used to manage appointments, daily tasks
and priorities, while detailed daily planning helps users structure individual
days.
Weekly goals can be added alongside
everyday responsibilities, which gives Cocoon some of the functionality of a
goal tracker as well as a traditional schedule planner. A separate goal planner
allows larger ambitions to be developed further.
One of the more visual features is the
ability to use this area like a vision board. Users can add images and ideas
connected to their life goals, making the section useful for people who prefer
to see reminders of what they are working toward rather than keeping everything
in a text-based task list.
Cocoon also dedicates considerable space to
routines. A morning routine planner can be used to structure the beginning of
the day, while self-care and hygiene routines can be organized alongside
evening plans. Guided routines provide additional ideas for sleep, calmer days,
self-love, positive thinking and accomplishing goals.
The mindset tools are another notable part
of the app. Cocoon contains areas for daily affirmations and positive
affirmations, along with self-love activities and mood-lift exercises. These
features are intended for personal wellbeing rather than medical treatment, but
they give Cocoon a different character from a conventional productivity app.
Practical lifestyle planning is included
too. Users can organize exercise through a workout planner, prepare meals and
nutrition, plan outfits and manage work projects and reading lists. The result
is a life planner that attempts to cover both responsibilities and the everyday
activities that support them.
Cocoon Organiser is available for iOS and
Android. It is also ORCHA Assured, having undergone an independent digital
health assessment that considers areas such as clinical safety, data privacy,
evidence and usability.
The interface itself is in English,
although personal entries can be written in other languages.
For users interested in both organization
and personal wellbeing, Cocoon offers a useful middle ground between a daily
planner, self-care app, routine tracker and goal planner.
