Game Review – Numplussed
Posted By: Stefan - 8:17 PMMany researchers believe that spending time on solving puzzle games can be relaxing and even help avert conditions like dementia as they can provide human brain the stimulus it needs to function properly.
Science confirms it!
According to a study published in the International Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry in April 2015, puzzle solving activities can have a positive impact on reasoning, spatial working memory and episodic memory. Interestingly, if you have a smartphone or a tablet, you don’t have to go anywhere. Both iOS and Android platforms offer plenty of mind-bending puzzle games.
Numplussed
Recently we were introduced by a concept that truly impresses. Since the puzzle games are so useful and entertaining, we want to talk about a stunning and ultra-fun math puzzle maze game that will entertain anyone!
In an original puzzle maze game for iOS & Android, made by Ian Finch (Codeulike Games), a veteran of the 80s/90s BBC/Acorn game scene, Numplussed will truly challenge you with hundreds of levels and combinations that will sometime make you go back and back, until you solve them.
Why You’ll Love It
There is something in the combination of puzzle, math and mazes that keeps you even more interested and challenged in the game!
The gameplay and what is required from you is simple: just visit the numbers in the maze to get the right total for the equals sign. However, there will be twists along the way with blocks and challenges, especially in the later stages.
While enjoying the game, expect intuitive touch-and-drag movement (if you already know the right maze, you can draw it and Numplussed will do the rest. With its minimal retro graphics that put the puzzles in the foreground, you can also expect more than 125 free levels and 300 more with a 'Neverending Tier' level pack that consists of 300,000 procedurally generated levels as an in-app purchase.
